In this article we show you how to turn the H-D or aftermarket Oil Cooler Fan (as well as the Chassis Fan) on your 17-later Milwaukee-8 FLH/FLT Touring models using Quick Tune with the original touch screen Dynojet Power Vision PV-2B or PV-3B. Note: this feature requires 3.8.1.91 (21-newer bikes) 2.8.1.1691 (17-20 bikes) or later firmware. There are instructions on how to update your firmware here.
- Plug in Power Vision, turn ignition and handlebar run switches to ON position
- On your Power Vision device select> Program Vehicle
- Select> QUICK TUNE, then> CONFIG 2
- Check or uncheck box next to Oil Cooler Fan to enable/disable Fan
- Select Save and then Yes to update your ECM with these settings
Note: Fuel Moto, Dynojet, or authorized Dynojet Power Vision tuning centers with the necessary tune permissions can also turn these fans on and configure the fan settings with the Dynojet software directly in your calibration. This is also necessary if you have a PV3 or PV4 device.
